Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Sophia Home Education. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Sophia Home Education
Sophia Home Education is an online platform providing worksheets, educational resources, and learning tools for home educated children. The platform is operated by Sophia Home Education, Sale, Manchester.
The platform is designed for personal home education use only. It is not intended for use in schools, tutoring businesses, or any commercial educational setting.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
To access the platform you must create a parent account. You must be 18 or over to register as a parent account holder.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account login with anyone outside your household.
You may create child profiles for children within your household. Child profiles are managed by the parent account holder.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice to subscribers.
4. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all platform content. No payment details are required during the trial period. At the end of the trial you may choose to subscribe at £5/month. If you do not subscribe your account will be paused.
5. Household Use Only
Your subscription covers one household only. You may not share your account, login credentials, or access to the platform with anyone outside your immediate household.
Up to 4 child profiles are included in the standard subscription. Each additional child profile beyond 4 will be charged at £1/month and added to your monthly subscription total.
Use of the platform by co-operatives, tutoring groups, schools, or any group outside a single household requires a separate arrangement. Please contact us at support@myclassroomhub.co.uk to discuss group pricing.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All content on Sophia Home Education — including but not limited to worksheets, activity packs, written content, illustrations, the Professor Plume character, the Sophia Home Education brand, and the platform design — is the copyright of Sophia Home Education.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for home education purposes within your household only. This licence does not permit:
- Copying, reproducing, or distributing worksheets or content to third parties
- Sharing content on social media, websites, or file sharing services
- Using content for commercial purposes including tutoring or teaching
- Modifying or creating derivative works from the content
- Removing copyright notices from any content
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Unauthorised use of our content may result in account termination and legal action.
7. Professor Plume
Professor Plume is a character created by and owned by Sophia Home Education. The character, name, likeness, and associated imagery are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, adapted, or used outside the platform without written permission.
8. Content and Curriculum
Sophia Home Education follows its own classical Trivium curriculum and does not claim alignment with the UK National Curriculum, Key Stage frameworks, or any external examination board. Some older worksheets may reference Key Stage levels — these references are descriptive only and do not imply official curriculum alignment.
We add new content regularly. We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content from the platform at any time.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include:
- Attempting to access other users' accounts or data
- Interfering with the platform's operation or security
- Using automated tools to scrape or download content
- Uploading harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Misrepresenting your identity or household size
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
10. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@myclassroomhub.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. In exceptional circumstances refunds may be considered at our discretion — please contact us to discuss.
11. Limitation of Liability
Sophia Home Education is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the content for any particular educational purpose.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to educational outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months prior to any claim.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify subscribers of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
